---- UPDATE: As of 10:30am on November 3rd, several clients have reported problems logging into and utilizing the University Email system. Our systems group is working on resolving this issue, but we do not currently have an estimated time when functionality will be restored. We apologize for any inconvenience and will distribute any new information we learn as soon as we receive it. ----- UPDATE: As of 7am on November 3rd, functionality for the University Email system was restored. Please contact the 24/7 with any further issues utilizing this system. ------ November 3rd, 5:37 am The email system is still experiencing a severe backlog of undelivered mail. In addition, many email users have been unable to log into Webmail. The mail server has been rebooted. Users should be able to log in and emails are beginning to be delivered again. These emails will be delivered over the course of the next few hours as the system works to catch up with the backlog. UITS is aware of this ongoing issue, and is working to get the issue resolved. We understand the inconvenience this causes, and greatly appreciate your patience. Please be aware that the slowdown of the system makes it infeasible to send out email alerts. Please keep checking the 24/7 IT Support Center and UITS websites for further updates. If you have any questions or concerns, call the 24/7 IT Support Center at 626-TECH.
